THE WHAT
People are sometimes afraid of power. Afraid of their own power.
Power means operating from a place of inner strength, confidence, and authenticity. It involves being true to yourself and your values while effectively influencing and inspiring others.
It feels like inner peace, calmness, clarity, a grounded confidence, a deep belief in your abilities, a deep sense you’re living your purpose, you’re in the flow and things are just easy, there is presence, humility, and in this deep sense of gratitude.
“Power is effortless; it simply flows from its own nature. Force is associated with effort and stress.” David Hawkins
Force is the use of pressure to do something or achieve a result. It involves aggression.
THE WHY
Why does this matter? You can get to outcomes in both ways, but one way is often longer lasting, has positive impact, and overall more influence.
EFFECTS AND IMPACT:
POWER:
- Has a positive, lasting, and harmonious impact.
- It inspires and uplifts others, creating an environment of growth and well-being.
- It’s effortless and gentle in its influence.
FORCE:
- Tends to create conflict, opposition, and instability.
- It seeks to control and dominate, often resulting in negative and short-lived outcomes.
- It requires constant effort and pressure.
- Often collapses under its own weight due to the resistance it generates.
