Wondering…helps our nervous system slow down and chill out, while creating a state of flow

THE WHAT
The beauty of wondering lies in its ability to open up endless possibilities and solutions, inviting curiosity, innovation, clarity, deep rest, and space to just be.
There are 2 kinds of wondering:
- Mind -thinking, reflecting, and letting your mind drift to new ideas.
- Physical–external exploration- discovering new places and experiencing different environments around you.
Wondering lets us get the space we need to come back to a hard thing fresh.
THE HOW
When we wonder, we give ourselves permission to explore new perspectives, which can lead to growth, rest, and deeper understanding of where you want your life to go.
It’s a form of mental and emotional play, where the answers aren’t always as important as the process of asking the questions.
No agenda wondering (as uncomfortable as this may be):
A few ideas…
- Strolling through a new city or your own town
- Setting aside a few hours while traveling to wonder
- Exploring nature-just being there-a tide pool, a beach, a lake, or trails in forest
- Discovery road tripping-driving where the roads take you
- Creative wondering-a museum, a creative space, a new experience or craft, or design and architecture tour

REFLECT
Can you set up a time this week to just wonder? No agenda, no goal, just letting your mind rest…
